Rhoonal Khoza is an impeccable example of a community trailblazer, making an unbelievable impact in the community of Ivory Park in Gauteng. He exemplifies a youthful spirit which makes it easier for young people to relate to him. He attended Eqinisweni Secondary School where he was part of the Representative Council of Learners (RCL) which played a huge role in shaping him as a leader. He pursued his Computer and Networking qualification at Cisco Networking Academy, where he uses these skills to motivate youngsters.
His passion for community service and youth empowerment shines through his role as a mentor at Lebone Rivoningo Developments, a platform for youth mentorship, impact leadership, humanitarianism and development. Rhoonal describes himself as a servant leader who is resilient, committed and self-motivated. It is with this dedication and impact that he became the first person to receive the Mentor of the Year Award in 2022. This is a testament to his commitment to making a positive change in the lives of others and that he will leave a remarkable mark in his community. Beyond his community work, Rhoonal is a devoted family man who values family time and prioritises his loved ones.
Rhoonal Khoza’s vision to empower one township at a time is admirable. He serves as a beacon of hope for youngsters in Ivory Park and beyond. His commitment and passion makes him an exemplary role model. In him, I see an example of change we have been waiting for. A young leader who is not only making a difference but also paving a way for others to follow in his footsteps.
